About me
I have spent my whole life being an artist/photographer. My mom was an art teacher & always encouraged me to draw & make art.After getting my BS degree in Studio Art, I became a Graphic Designer & Art Director for 13 years prior to getting my Master's in the Curriculum & Instruction of Art.Over the past 23 years, I have taught Darkroom (analog) Photography, Digital Photography, Graphic Design, Drawing 1 & 2, Design & Intro to Studio Art.I have 2 sons (Justin & Dylan), 2 daughters-in-law (Amy & Kelsey), 3 granddaughters (Daisy, Meadow & Blakely - & one more granddaughter, Melody is on her way), my life partner (Rob) & 2 dogs (Bella & Cuda).I love to travel, walk outside with my dogs, enjoy a wide variety of sports,listening to music, taking pictures/making art & look forward to experiencing the most that life has to offer.When you look at my photography, hopefully you will get a glimpse of me as a person & an artist/photographer.You will also be able to see the things I find most important & inspirational,as I find NEW & exciting ways to record the world around me, in a meaningful & purposeful way.I hope to share my passion for art/photography with you.
