Attendees will receive actionable strategies that can be immediately implemented to create a more student-centered classroom. Additionally, participants will have access to a variety of customizable documents that can be adapted to suit different classroom settings._x000D_I aim to provide teachers across the district with simple tools to help transition from a traditional grading system to a standards-based approach. During this session, we will discuss the rationale behind using standards-based grading and how it fosters a more student-centered environment. I will also present examples of how standards-based grading can be applied to tests, Canvas, and formative assignments.
