This session is designed to equip middle school teachers with practical, easy-to-implement strategies to support English Language Learners (ELLs) in their classrooms. Focusing on quick wins that can be applied immediately, this session will help content area teachers foster a more inclusive and effective learning environment for their ELL students. Teachers will leave with actionable tools and strategies that promote language acquisition, engagement, and content understanding. For those who have been in an ELL Quick Win session already this year, this session will have similar content but with fresh, new examples of what these strategies might look like in your classroom.

Implement actionable strategies for using the "Try It, Discuss It, Connect It" framework alongside instructional routines to enhance student engagement and drive math learning. Focus on student engagement through exploration, foster meaningful math discourse and collaboration, and connect and apply new learning._x000D_Participants will be able to effectively implement the iReady framework in their 6-8 math class.

Are you implementing or co-teaching CPM next year (25-26)? This session is designed for high school math teachers and co-teachers who will implement CPM next school year (25-26). Deepen your understanding of the CPM curriculum and strengthen your collaborative teaching practices. We will explore essential components of CPM, including lessons, effective collaboration, team roles, and study team-teaching strategies specifically aligned with the course you teach. Gain an in-depth understanding of the CPM curriculum’s design for your course, including its emphasis on problem-based learning, student collaboration, and the role of the teacher as a facilitator. 

Participants will use data driven prerequisite reports to identify and plan for student learning needs and tailor instructional practices to ensure all students make progress in mathematics.  Effectively use i-Ready Math data to inform and enhance instructional strategies for both Tier 1 (core instruction) and Tier 2 (targeted interventions).

The Curb-Cut Effect. How these special education tips, tricks and strategies can benefit your general education classroom. We will explain the curb-cut effect and how it can benefit your classroom. We will show you a variety of techniques, often common in special education classrooms, that can be beneficial in the general education setting. Mix of sit and get and hands on learning.
