In this session we will examine AP classroom and how it can be used as an instructional tool in the AP Science classroom. 1. Participants will be able to identify videos to use for instruction. 2. Participants will be able to identify and assign Topic Questions. 3. Participants will explore instructional resource and possible uses in AP coursework.
In this session, Ryane Jewell and Eli Schraad will present their methodologies and procedures for converting state secondary art standards into learning targets and unit outcomes. This discussion is geared towards secondary art educators and other project-based secondary learning teachers.
This virtual session is geared for high school teachers who are responsible for supporting students with Edgenuity courses. If you attend this session, please make sure to bring your computer/iPad and headphones/airpods. This workshop provides a hands-on opportunity for educators to review engagement, progress, and achievement data metrics using school data. This session will model how literacy can be incorporated into a science classroom. The strategies will be focused on supporting our ELL students but will benefit all students. During this session, teachers will have the opportunity to explore the resources shared and implement into a future lesson. Objectives

Teachers can explore resources and modify text to meet the needs of their students.
Teachers can design a lesson, or portion of a lesson, focused on literacy for an upcoming topic.
Implement actionable strategies for using the "Try It, Discuss It, Connect It" framework alongside instructional routines to enhance student engagement and drive math learning. Focus on student engagement through exploration, foster meaningful math discourse and collaboration, and connect and apply new learning._x000D_Participants will be able to effectively implement the iReady framework in their 6-8 math class.
This session will provide an opportunity for AP Science Instructors to reflect on curriculum changes and share effective Instructional strategies. Be prepared to share at least one strategy. 1. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their first semester teaching and dIscuss with other AP teachers. 2. Participants will have an opportunity to share effective instructional strategies. 3. Participants will be given an opportunity to discuss strategies to implement for the second semester.

If you attend this session, please make sure to bring your computer/iPad and headphones/airpods. This workshop prepares leaders and counselors with everything needed to jump-start and lead a successful implementation with Imagine Edgenuity. Leaders will learn about how to best support staff, analyze data and perform MOY and EOY procedures.
In this session, participants will...1) understand how to lead and support the successful implementation of Edgenuity in their schools. 2) understand how to support staff with implementing Edgenuity. 3) understand how to analyze data reports and perform middle and end-of-year procedures.
This session will focus on how to spend the first 10 weeks of a beginning strings class so that students set up for success, without losing the initial spark - and prepare them for their first concert! Teachers will be able to apply strategies with 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd year orchestra students.
Participants will learn about Bioscience Core Skills Institute industry recognize micro-credentials and digital badges. They will learn which exams are available and how to integrate into their Science curriculum. Participants will see a model demonstration of how credentialing occurs. Opportunities for funding will also be shared. Inform all science educators about BCSI and make credentialing available for all SMSD high school students.
